General Scope

Wikiation collects and retains the least amount of personally identifiable information needed to fulfill the operational needs. Registered users who do edit pages have specific privacy policy which is beyond the scope of this public privacy policy.

IP and other technical information

When a visitor requests or reads a page, or sends email to Wikiation, no more information is collected than is typically collected by web sites. Wikiation may keep raw logs of such transactions, but these will not be published or used to track legitimate users.

Cookies

The sites set a temporary session cookie on a visitor's computer whenever a Project page is visited. Readers who do not intend to log in or edit may deny this cookie; it will be deleted at the end of the browser's session.

Reading projects

No more information on users and other visitors reading pages is collected than is typically collected in server logs by web sites. Aside from the above raw log data collected for general purposes, page visits do not expose a visitor's identity publicly. Sampled raw log data may include the IP address of any user, but it is not reproduced publicly.

Refresh data

After some time a Wikibox (wiki) may be polluted. The Wikibox may be refreshed (cleaned) so old not relevant data is removed. As is it was a new Wikibox with just the correct data.

Change

This privacy policy is valid on this very moment. The privacy policy may change in the future which is only valid 30 days after the moment of change and later. On your request by e-mail you may receive a notification of the changes by e-mail. Default you will also receive minor changes, please notify if you wish otherwise.

Legal request

Information will not be shared to third parties unless Wikiation receives an order from Dutch court to do so.

Disclaimer

Wikiation believes that maintaining and preserving the privacy of user data is an utmost important value. Nevertheless, on internet there never can be 100% guarantee that user information will remain private, regarding which situation may occur.
